I think honestly if you chose the second option you don’t deserve anyone. 
People that think looks aren’t important at all are kidding themselves because they are important to an extent. When you see someone for the first time or even meet them for the first time you can’t judge them on their personality because there’s no way you can have seen enough of it yet, looks are all you have to go on. 
But I would definitely rather date someone plain with an amazing personality. The personality is what makes you stay.
